Donna

Donna West

Executive Director, CityKidz Regina

For as long as she can remember, Donna has had a passion for helping children. After spending 30 years in the business community as an accountant, her dream to work with children finally came true. In 2004, she began volunteering with a children’s program through her local church in North Central Regina, the neighbourhood McLean’s Magazine dubbed The Worst Neighborhood in Canada. From there her passion for helping the most vulnerable only grew. In September 2010, Donna became the Branch Manager for CityKidz Regina and the Saturday program was launched with great success. Raising a child as a single mom, Donna knows all too well the strength and determination that is needed to endure adversity and keep your dreams alive. Her past experiences have served to fuel her passion to see children who are growing up in adversity reach their full potential.
